Project Associate

We are seeking a Project Associate for our Adolescent Health Project, which focuses on improving adolescent health outcomes in underserved rural communities in Supaul. This role is essential to advancing the project’s goals by directly engaging with adolescents, their parents, and government schools, and local stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct health education training sessions in government schools with adolescents through one-on-one and in group discussions.
- Conduct regular home visits of the students and interact with their parents.
- Document field activities, observations, and insights, and prepare periodic updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and understand community needs in relation to adolescent health, and contribute to continuous program improvement.
- Support other programmatic activities.
What we are looking for
- A degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW), Public Health, Nutrition, Rural Management, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in public health, adolescent health, skill-building education, or community health projects.
- Strong communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken Hindi.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accurate data collection, documentation, and reporting from the field.
- Passion for community mobilisation and experience or interest in facilitating group sessions and health awareness activities.
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse community groups and local stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn, adaptable, and self-motivated, with a commitment to working on-site in Bihar and travelling within rural areas as required.

Remuneration
